1927 Negro League Postseason

The 1927 Negro National League playoffs matched the first-half champion Chicago American Giants (CAG) against the second-half champion Birmingham Black Barons (BIR). Chicago defeated Birmingham 4 games to 1, earning a return trip to the Negro League World Series. Their opponent in 1927 was the same as in 1926, the Atlantic City Bacharach Giants (ACY) of the Eastern Colored League. The American Giants won their second consecutive World Series championship.

This was the final Negro League World Series played between the NNL and the ECL. The Eastern Colored League dissolved after the 1928 season and no Negro League World Series was played that season.
