The remainder of this page is being kept here for now for the sake of history. This database will not be updated any more.

We ma(d)e transaction information available in two formats:

1. As a database that can be downloaded as compressed ".zip" file archive. This form requires additional processing and intended for use by researchers rather than fans wanting find information on-line.
2. A list for each year that shows nicely on your screen. It can be printed, and there are links to our pages about the players and teams involved.

Database

The read me file describes the layout of the records and discusses what is and is not in the files and related topics. For your convenience, this file is included in the transaction data download.

There is a single data file designed for further processing and/or searching using tools such as a database program, spreadsheet program, or your own custom written program. The data file and the read me file are combined into one "zip" archive file, whose size is about 1 Mb.

Since the transaction data is updated more often than the yearly files linked below, if there are differences between the two, the database will be more current. The current database was uploaded on November 26, 2021.
